Do I have to be a member to attend Tero Parbon Events?

Not at all. Everyone is welcome to our events. As most of the events are pre-registered you need to register to attend the events.

What are the benefits of becoming a member?

If you are member 

  1. You will get discounted and priority access to all our registered events like Saraswati Puja, Poila Baishak, Durga Puja, Bijaya Sammelani etc.

  2. You can setup a stall at our events at a discounted price.

  3. You will be part of the general body of our organizations where you will be able to share your ideas and opinions regarding the events during our quarterly general body meetings. 

  4. You will be able to conduct workshops and seminars which complements Tero Parbon's Mission & Vision.  

  5. You will be given priority to showcase your talent at all the events that Tero Parbon organizes throughout the year.

How do I become an  Member of Tero Parbon ASBL?

To become an Annual Member, you simply need to fill up the Membership Form below and pay the respective annual membership fee according to the chosen plan .

What is the eligibility of becoming an Member?

Anyone above 18 years is eligible for becoming an member. 

When will my membership be confirmed ?

After your successful membership form submission and payment confirmation your request will be reviewed by Tero Parbon Team. Once your membership is approved you will receive a confirmation email in your registered email along with MoU (Memorandum of understanding). 
You need to read and sign the MoU to agree with terms and conditions of membership and send the signed copy to teroparbonbelgium@gmail.com . Once done , your membership will be confirmed.

If your membership is not approved or you don't agree with MoU , your membership fee will be refunded to the same bank account from which the payment was made within 10 working days.

What is the validity of the Membership?

All our membership plans are annual . Membership will start from the day of your subscription and valid till one year.

Is the Membership transferable?

All of Membership plans  are non transferable and non-refundable.

Is the Membership cancellable?

None of membership plan is cancellable , though you can opt out after the end of plan validity.

Is there any tax benefit that is linked to donation made towards Tero Parbon?

At present there are no tax benefits for donations made towards Tero Parbon, but in the near future, it will be possible if Tero Parbon contributes towards any social cause and becomes eligible as per the Belgian Govt's directive..

Regarding rights of the associate members, do they have the same voting rights as founding members?

Tero Parbon is a flat structured organization where there is no hierarchy, no position of President or General secretary etc. Founding members of the organization are people who established it and are the signatories during the process of ASBL registration. Other than that, they are not bestowed with any additional power. For the functioning of the organization the founding members have registered themselves as Associate members through the same online membership process followed by the rest.
Regarding Voting rights, the organization have thoughtfully processed an MOU where Voting has been given a back seat keeping discussion and unanimous decision in the first place for any decision-making process. Unless absolutely essential, Tero Parbon will not proceed for voting and if and when required all the Associate members (including the Founding members) possess the same right and discretionary power.

Can a member of Tero Parbon join any other organization?

Any member of Tero Parbon is free to be associated with any other organization or body. It is completely his or her personal choice but on good faith we believe getting administratively associated with organizations with conflicting interests should be avoided and being involved in organizing committee of similar events in more than one organization during same time span can cause a lack of focus, lack of efficiency and dearth of productive outputs. But as an organization we keep this open for our members to decide on their own.

Can a Tero Parbon member be free to perform in any other organization and are they eligible to seek remuneration from other organization for their personal performance?

Any member of Tero Parbon is free to perform in cultural programs of any other organization both personally and professionally. At the same time, while representing Tero Parbon in any event conducted by other organizations or any collaborative ventures, he or she can never expect any remuneration keeping the non-profit status of Tero Parbon in account. On the other hand, during his or her professional performance in any other organization, where he or she is not representing Tero Parbon then it is his or her discretion to seek any remuneration for the performance.

Is it mandatory for all the members to be present physically in all the events and programs of Tero Parbon?

No, it is absolutely not mandatory for members to be physically present in all the events conducted by Tero Parbon throughout the year. But maximum involvement is expected from them as and when possible. Here all the members are participating in their best efforts, so, there is no obligatory bindings for attendance in events.

How and can I get involved as a Volunteer without becoming an Annual Member?

Absolutely! Any support is more than welcome. Although you need to register for the events to attend separately.
